7.9 SECURITY LOCK
The security lock secures the security lock as-
sembly to the system unit cover. You do not have
to remove the security lock assembly in these
procedures.
To remove the security lock, follow these steps:
1. Complete the removal procedures in the
following sections:
a. 7.2 MONITOR
b. 7.3 KEYBOARD
c. 7.5 PREPARING THE SYSTEM UNIT
FOR THE INTERNAL REMOVAL
AND REPLACEMENT PROCEDURES
d. 7.6 SYSTEM UNIT COVER AND
INTERNAL CONFIGURATION
2. Remove the security lock key.
3. Remove the screw and clip that secure the
security lock assembly to the system unit
cover (Figure 7-18).

To replace the security lock, reverse Steps 1
through 3 of the preceding removal procedures.
