To remove the terminating resistor, complete the
following steps:
1. Locate the terminating resistor on the
fixed disk drive.
NOTE: Terminating resistors are located
in different positions depending on
the manufacturer.
2. Remove the terminating resistor on the
fixed disk drive using needle-nosed pliers
(Figure 7-53).

To install the fixed disk drive in the expansion
unit, reverse steps 1 through 5.
