Installing a Downloaded Programme File
To install a programme file that you have downloaded from
the Internet to your hard drive, complete the following steps:
1. Terminate your Internet connection.
2. Close all programmes.
3. From the Windows taskbar, click the Start button, point to
Settings, and then click Control Panel.
4. Double-click the Add/Remove Programmes
¤ icon
to open the Add/Remove Programmes Properties
dialogue box.
5. Click Install to open the Install Programme from
Floppy Disk or CD-ROM window.
6. Click Next to open the Run Installation Programme
window.
7. Click Browse to locate and select the setup.exe or
install.exe file for the downloaded software.
8. Click Open to begin the installation process.
