Removal
1. Perform the
preparation for
disassembly procedure.
2. Remove the hood.
3. Locate the RTC battery.
4.
Push out the socket levers 1 and
slide the RTC battery out of the
socket 2.
End of sequence
Replacement
To replace RTC battery, reverse
the removal procedure.
WARNING: The
clock/CMOS lithium battery
may explode if mistreated.
Do not abuse. Use only
replacement batteries
supplied by Compaq
Computer Corporation.
