Two diagnostic software tools are available to assist in troubleshooting your Presario
Product:
Compaq Diagnostics for Windows is preinstalled on your system. To access
Diagnostics for Windows, click Start, point to Settings, then select Control Panel,
and then double-click Compaq Diagnostics.

Compaq Personal Computer Diagnostics, a DOS-based tool, is available for
download from the Compaq Web site at www.compaq.com.
●
Both tools provide general system information, verify system functionality, test the
system, and identify possible defective components. Compaq Diagnostics for Windows
provides specific recommended actions in the case of failure.
