h) Manual time/date setting
To manually set the time/date, proceed as follows:
Press and hold the "MODE" button for three seconds. In the bottom right
display corner a digit starts flashing; this is a time zone adjustment.
To change the setting, press the "S" button or the "T" button, respectively.
If you choose any other value than "0" (+9 to -9 is possible, see time zone
table on page 29), the time indication will be changed then. The value set,
will be added up to the time set/received (subtracted, respectively).
Confirm the entry by briefly pressing the "MODE" button.
The indicator for hour format
starts flashing. Press the "S" or "T" button to
select between 24-hour or 12-hour time format.
Confirm the entry by briefly pressing the "MODE" button.
The hour indicator
is flashing. Press the "S" or "T" buttons to set the
desired hour.
Confirm the entry by briefly pressing the "MODE" button.
The minute indicator
is flashing. Pressing the "S" or "T" buttons will set the
desired minute.
Confirm the entry by briefly pressing the "MODE" button.
The year indicator
is flashing. Pressing the "S" or "T" buttons will set the
desired year.
If reception problems occur, switch off DCF reception first (press
and hold the "T" button for 2 seconds until the DCF icon
disappears).
A quick setting can be done holding down the "S" or "T" buttons
for a longer period.
If you do not want to change a setting, briefly press the "MODE"
button to skip to another setting.
If you do not press any button for a minute, the last setting will be
stored and the setting mode will automatically be exited.
