Usage Features
Fan Location:
- Place the fan in an area of the room that will provide proper fan cooling.
- Ensure the fan is placed on a small, unlevel, uneven, or any surface that might allow the fan to tip or fall.
- For proper operation, the fan should be placed on a smooth, non-combustible, level surface.
- Always unplug the fan when not in use, when moving from place to place, when assembling or disassembling parts, and before cleaning.
- Do not use outdoors.

- Do not operate the fan with blade guards or any safety device removed.
Fan Connection:
- Plug the fan directly into a 120 Volt A.C., 60 Hz wall outlet.
- Ensure the plug fits tightly in the outlet. A loose connection may cause overheating and damage to the plug or fan.
- To prevent overloading a circuit, do not plug the fan into a circuit that is servicing other electrical needs.
Turning Fan On/Off:
- To turn the fan on, rotate the top control dial to the desired fan speed (1, 2 or 3).
- To turn the fan off, rotate the top control dial to the OFF position.
- Always unplug the fan when not in use.
Fan Speed and Oscillation:
- The top control dial is used to select the desired fan speed (1, 2 or 3).
- Rotate the dial clockwise for standard use and counter-clockwise for oscillation use.
- A control panel diagram illustrates the dial positions for fan speed with and without oscillation.
Fan Base Assembly:
- Rotate the base panel (F) to which is at the bottom of the fan housing.
- Place the Rear base panel (B) between the fan housing (D) and base holder (F), in the right side first.
- Align the Rear base panel (B) and Front base panel (A) together.
- Put the base holder (F) back and tighten it to hold the base panels on the fan housing (D).
