The tether strap may need to be lengthened so that the tether clip will reach the ISOFIX
anchor point. To lengthen the tether strap squeeze the tether strap adjuster (a) and pull the
tether strap out b).
For hatchback and estate vehicles remove the parcel shelf (consult the vehicle handbook for
information on removing the parcel shelf).
Fit the tether clip to ISOFIX anchor point (c, d, e or f). The tether strap passes under the
headrest or remove the headrest if it interferes with the tether strap (consult the vehicle
handbook for information on removing the headrest).
Push the tether strap clip on to the ISOFIX anchor point (g) until the spring loaded catch (h)
fits over the bar.
Pull the end of the tether strap firmly (i) until the indicator on the adjuster turns green (j).
The tether strap is now correctly tensioned.
For hatchback and estate vehicles refit the parcel shelf.
12 - removing the child car seat from the vehicle - ISOFIX
Squeeze the tether strap adjuster (a) and pull the tether strap out (b).
Unclip the tether clip from the ISOFIX anchor point by pushing on the spring loaded catch
(c) and pulling the tether clip clear (d).
Push both ISOFIX arm buttons (e) to disengage the ISOFIX arms from the ISOFIX anchor
points and pull the child car seat back from the vehicle seat (f).
Push the ISOFIX arm button again and push the ISOFIX arms back into the child car seat (g).

Adjust the child car seat to the most reclined position by pulling the lever at the front of
the seat (a) and lifting the front of the seat upwards (b).
Remove the seat opening shaft by releasing the end from its lock (c) and pulling the
shaft
out of the seat (d).
Pull the top of seat forwards (e).

Loosen the harness by pushing the adjuster button (a) in as you pull the harness straps
(b) forward as much as possible.
IMPORTANT:
Pull the harness
UNDER
the chest pads. DO NOT
pull on the chest pads.
At the rear of the seat remove the shoulder harness from the harness connector (c).
Lift the shoulder harness to gain better access to the chest pad locking bar.
Release the chest pad locking bar on the rear of the seat (d) by pulling it backwards sharply.
Slide the chest pad straps off the chest pad locking bar (e).
Pull the shoulder harness from the front of the child car seat (f) until the shoulder
harness and chest pad straps come through the backrest of the seat (g).
