stop the child car seat from protecting your child as well as it
should. If, when the seat belt/lap strap belt is properly tightened,
the buckle lies in the position marked then try fitting the child
car seat in another seating position in your vehicle.
For the safety of the child please check:
•
The diagonal belt section runs through the seat belt guide located on the headrest
and the lap belt must pass over the red tags sewn into the seat cover.
•
The straps are tightened and not twisted.
•
The vehicle seat belt buckle is correctly located on the side of the car seat and is not
obstructed.
IMPORTANT: The shoulder belt must cling to the child’s shoulder
and chest. The lap belt must pass over the red tags sewn into the
seat cover. Always make sure that your vehicle seat belts are
correctly tensioned to ensure maximum protection for your child.
19 - installing the child car seat in Group 2/ 3 mode, without
ISOFIX (15 to 36kg, approx. 4 to 12 years old) - 1
WARNING: Your child car seat can only be installed forward
facing using a three point lap and diagonal belt in the front or
rear passenger seats of the vehicle.

ISOFIX (15 to 36kg, approx. 4 to 12 years old) - 2
Before installation, remove the harness and seat liners from the child car seat and lock the
back of the seat with the seat opening shaft. See steps 12 to 15.
NOTE: The seat liners, harness, chest pads, crotch pad & chest
pad locking bar should be stored away safely for future use. The
chest pad locking bar MUST NOT be used in group 2 & 3
installations.
Ensure the ISOFIX connector arms or retracted into the child car seat. Press the buttons
on the front of the child car seat (a) and push the arms back into the seat (b).
Store the ISOFIX tether strap in the back of the child car seat.
Place the child car seat on to the vehicle seat.
Release the vehicle seat belt lock (c) under the headrest. Feed the vehicle seat belt into
the gap (d) under the vehicle seat belt slot until the vehicle seat belt is located in the
vehicle seat belt slot. Push the vehicle seat belt lock back (e).
