Securing your child in the child car seat:
13: Open the harness (a), (refer to step 3).
Raise the headrest (b), (refer to step 5).
14: Place your child in the child car seat.
Close the harness (a), (refer to step 4).
Adjust the headrest (b), (refer to step 5).
Tighten the harness (c), (refer to step 2).
NOTE: The harness must be reasonably tight. It should restrain but not make the
child uncomfortable. Check that the straps are not twisted while the child is seated.

Fitting the child car seat to your vehicle:
17: Adjust the handle to vehicle/Carry position (a) (refer to steps 8).
Position the child car seat on the vehicle seat, pass the vehicle waist belt through
the side vehicle belt guides (b) and fasten the vehicle belt buckle (c).
Route the diagonal belt under handle hinge (d) then through rear vehicle seat belt
guide (e).
Tension the vehicle diagonal belt (f).
IMPORTANT: The position of the vehicle belt buckle can aect
the stability of the child car seat. In an accident this could stop
the child car seat from protecting your child as well as it should.
After tightening the vehicle belt, if the buckle lies in the position
marked then try tting the child car seat in another seating
position in your vehicle. If in doubt consult either the child car
seat manufacturer or retailer.
Removing softgoods:
18: Open the harness, (refer to step 3).
Remove the seat liner (a) (if applicable) & crotch pad (b).
19: Remove the hood fabric (a), (refer to step 11).
Remove the chest pads (b) & headrest (c).
