Function Description:

The Baby Joy BB4880 stroller is designed to safely transport infants and young children. It includes a multi-point harness system to secure the child, a canopy for sun protection, and storage options for essential items. The stroller can be easily unfolded for use and folded for storage or transport. It also features a recline function for the seat back and adjustable brakes for safety.

Important Technical Specifications:

Usage Features:

Assembly:

  1. Attaching Front Swivel Wheels:
    • Locate the legs on the front of the stroller.
    • Attach one Front Swivel Wheel to the stroller frame leg, ensuring the "UP" marking is facing upward. Push until it "CLICKS" into a fully locked position. Verify by pulling outward on the wheel.
    • Repeat on the opposite side.
  2. Attaching Rear Non-Swivel Wheels:
    • Locate the legs on the rear of the stroller.
    • Align the Rear Non-Swivel Wheel with the stroller frame leg.
    • Attach the Rear Non-Swivel Wheel into the rear of the stroller frame leg, ensuring the pin is aligned with the housing. Push until it "CLICKS" into a fully locked position. Verify by pulling outward on the wheel.
    • Repeat on the opposite side.
  3. Attaching Cup Holder:
    • Locate the knob on the side of the stroller.
    • Fit the notch in the cup holder over the knob on the side rail and push down until you hear a "click." Pull up on the cup holder to ensure it is secure.

Unfolding the Stroller:

  1. Locate the latch clip on the side of the stroller.
  2. Pull to release the latch clip.
  3. Position the stroller upright on its rear wheels.
  4. Grasp a handle with one hand. With your other hand, push down on the front of the stroller to open.

Opening the Stroller:

  1. With your hand around the grip, press down on the primary locking mechanism until it "clicks" into place.
  2. Release the secondary lock by pressing the pedal on the right side of the stroller's frame with your foot.

Seat Back Recline Positioning:

  • To Recline: Squeeze both sides on the cord housing and pull away to recline the seat.
  • To Return to Upright: Hold the bottom cord loops while squeezing the cord housing and move the cord housing upwards towards the backseat.

Canopy Adjustment:

  • The canopy can be adjusted to either an open or closed position by simply moving it.

Rear Wheel Brakes:

  • To Lock: Press both brake pedals down until they "click" into the locked position. Always set both brake pedals when parking the stroller.
  • To Unlock: Lift both brake pedals until they "click" into the unlocked position.

Front Swivel Wheel Brakes:

  • To Lock: Lift both swivel pedals until they "click" into an unlocked position.
  • To Unlock: Press both swivel pedals down until they "click" into the locked position. Make sure the brake pedals are pressed down completely.

Rotating Handle:

  • Press the button and rotate the handle into one of the present handle positions. The handle can rotate 360°.
  • Release the button for a locked position.

Securing Child:

  1. Place your child in the stroller. Position the crotch belt between your child's legs.
  2. Pull shoulder straps over the child's arm and shoulder and fasten both strap ends to the restraint system.
  3. Fasten both waist belts to the buckle on each side of the crotch belt, ensuring you hear a "click" on both sides.
  4. Check that the restraint system is securely attached by pulling it away from your child. The restraint system should remain attached.
  5. Tighten each waist belt and shoulder strap so that the restraint system is snug against your child.

Adjusting Waist Belts and Shoulder Straps:

  • To Tighten Waist Belts: Feed the anchored end of a waist belt up through the buckle to form a loop (A). Pull the free end of the waist belt (B). Repeat for the other waist belt.
  • To Tighten Shoulder Straps: Feed the top end of the shoulder strap through the plastic stay to form a loop (C). Pull the bottom end down to tighten the strap (D). Repeat for the other shoulder strap.
  • To Loosen Waist Belts: Feed the free end of the waist belt up through the buckle to form a loop (A). Enlarge the loop by pulling on the end of the loop toward the buckle. Pull the anchored end of the waist belt to shorten the free end of the waist belt (B). Repeat for the other waist belt.
  • To Loosen Shoulder Straps: Feed the bottom end of the shoulder strap through the plastic stay to form a loop (C). Pull the top end up to loosen the strap (D). Repeat for the other shoulder strap.
  • Note: After adjusting the restraint system, pull on it to ensure it is securely fastened.

Storage (Folding the Stroller):

  1. Ensure the canopy is in the closed position.
  2. With your foot, lift up on the Primary Unlocking Mechanism.
  3. Then, with your foot, step on the Secondary Locking Mechanism.
  4. Lift the front wheels toward the closed canopy.
  5. Slide the latch clip onto the side frame to secure the stroller in the folded storage position.

Maintenance Features:

  • Cleaning: Make sure all body parts are clear of the stroller when folding and unfolding.
  • Liquids: Do not place hot liquids in the cup holder, as hot liquids can burn your child.
  • Storage: Do not use the storage bag to carry children.
  • Tipping Prevention: Do not exceed the maximum storage weight limits for the storage bag or cup holder. Do not place additional items on this product, except as recommended in the instructions.

WARNINGS:

  • Prevent serious injury from falls or sliding out:
    • ALWAYS use the restraint system.
    • Only children who have developed enough upper body control to sit without leaning forward can use the front seat in the upright position.
