It is used in conjunction with an ABM-200 Airflow & Environmental Meter (or ABM-100 Airflow Meter) and a smartphone running the free CPS Link™ app. This integrated system provides a comprehensive solution for HVAC airflow measurement, offering both precision and affordability.
The primary function of the ABM EasyHood is to capture and measure airflow. When placed over a vent, it directs the air through an internal vortex airflow straightener, ensuring that the airflow is consistent and measurable by the integrated meter. The ABM-200 meter, which is included with the ABM-HOOD-200 model, not only measures airflow but also provides environmental data such as temperature, wet bulb temperature, dew point, and relative humidity.
