2. Assemble the heart-rate monitor with the strap and
transmitter unit

(see chapter “Assembling the
heart-rate monitor”).
3. Put on the elastic heart-rate monitor so that the
sensors on your chest are just under your pectoral
muscles or along the bottom of the chest and so that
the transmitter unit is not on its head (see fig.A).
4. Close the strap with the locking hook

5. Correct the position of the heart-rate monitor if
applicable so that the strap is resting firmly, but is still
comfortable (see fig.C).
The heart-rate monitor should not slip down, but at the
same time, should not be so firm as to cause you pain.
