2.18 Situations Which Void the Warranty
Warranty claims cannot be claimed in the following cases:
- Using the device incorrectly, improperly, incorrectly, carelessly or contrary to its
intended use.
- Incorrect installation, assembly or commissioning, contrary to the information
described in the operating and assembly instructions.
- Incorrect operation or use of the device contrary to the information described
in the operating and assembly instructions, especially non-compliance with the
maintenance and cleaning instructions and ignoring the warnings.
- Installation, repair or necessary interventions which are not carried out by
authorized business partners.
- Consumables, wearing parts and natural wear.
- Equipping the device with spare and complementary parts or accessories that
are not original parts manufactured by the manufacturer or not approved by the
manufacturer. This is especially true in the device with a control system operating
in the network if the control units and software are not Truma approved or the
Truma control unit (eg Truma CP plus, Truma iNet Box) is not used only for Truma
devices or for Truma approved devices.
- Foreign substances (eg oil, softeners in gas), damage caused by chemical or
electrochemical effects in water, or contact with unsuitable substances (eg chemi-
cal products, ammable substances, unsuitable cleaning agents).
Fault Cause/Solution
Long heating time Water tank has sediment/ Clean the tank
Burner can't fill up Exit valve open/ Close the exit valve
Cannot evacuate water despite exit valve being
open
Mud or sediment blocking the exit
valve/ Clean the exit valve
Exit valve leaking water
Water pressure too high/ Check water pressure.
If connected to the mains keep pressure below
2.8 bar
When heater is shut down FrostControl turns on
Under 3C Frostcontrol automatically opens/
Open the heater. FrostControl cannot be turned
off below 7C
FrostControl can't turn off Temperature is below 7C/ Turn the heater on
