WARNING! Before using your Duke mask, carefully read the following instructions. This document is
an integral part of the product and must be stored with it as long as it is in use.
GENERAL INFORMATION:
This product was conceived exclusively for snorkeling on the surface. This personal protective equip-
ment (PPE) is classified in Category I and is designed to protect the user's eyes, nose, and mouth from
direct contact with the water; it is compliant with the specifications and essential safety requirements
set forth by regulation 2016/425 regarding personal protective equipment.
PRECAUTIONS FOR USE:
WARNING! This product absolutely must not be used by people with respiratory and/or pulmonary pro-
blems or with reduced respiratory capacity, nor should it be used by anyone who is not in optimal physical
and mental condition. Failure to comply with this warning could result in very serious injury.
WARNING! This product has undergone stringent lab testing to verify that the residual CO
2
content
during normal use is kept within levels that are harmless for users. In any event, given that human
respiration varies depending on the gender, age, and weight of users, we recommend removing and
replacing the mask at least every half an hour to guarantee a replacement of fresh air.
WARNING! This product was designed for recreational snorkeling on the surface, and was not
designed for intensive swimming.
WARNING! Do not dive, and to avoid direct damage to the eardrums, do not use for freediving,
because the mask does not allow users to squeeze their noses to equalize if needed.
WARNING! Never dive head first wearing the visor to prevent the mask from shifting or becoming
damaged, resulting in possible injury.
WARNING! This product must never be used by children ten or younger. Children older than 10
may only use the product under adult supervision and in shallow water to practice snorkeling where
they can always touch the bottom with their feet. Always make sure the product functions correctly
before every use.
WARNING! A single size cannot be right for every user. Choose the size that fits your face. Before
using the product in the water, check for a perfect seal in a place you can touch the bottom with your
feet. Always make sure the product functions correctly before every use. Try putting the product on and
taking it off out of the water to get comfortable using it.
WARNING! Do not bend or add any extensions to the original shape of the tube, and do not change,
replace, or alter parts of the product to prevent accidents, including serious accidents.
WARNING! Never use the mask unless the snorkel is seated correctly.
WARNING! Do not expose the mask to direct sunlight or high temperatures (higher than 60°C/140°F)
for long periods. If the mask is left exposed to the sun, the dark parts could overheat; check carefully
before using. Never bring the mask near an open flame or a powerful jet of hot air.
WARNING! The mask skirt is made of hypoallergenic silicone; nevertheless, allergic reactions could
occur in particularly sensitive skin. In the event of a reaction, contact a doctor immediately.
