Usage Features

The washer dryer is designed for user-friendly operation with a clear control panel.

Quick Start:

  1. Plug in the appliance, ensuring it's properly earthed.
  2. Open the tap for water supply.
  3. Load laundry into the drum.
  4. Close the door securely.
  5. Add detergent to the appropriate dispenser compartments (pre-wash, main wash, softener).
  6. Press the "Power On" button.
  7. Select the desired program.
  8. Select additional functions (e.g., temperature, spin speed, delay, dry level).
  9. Press "Start/Pause" to begin the program.

Programmes: The appliance offers a variety of programs, including:

  • Quick: For lightly soiled items.
  • Sport Wear: For sportswear.
  • 20°C: Energy-saving wash at low temperature.
  • Jeans: Specific program for denim.
  • Wool: Gentle wash for woolens.
  • Cotton 60°C: Standard program for cotton.
  • Intensive: For heavily soiled items.

Detergent Dispenser: The dispenser has three compartments:

  • I: Pre-wash detergent.
  • II: Main wash detergent.
  • 88: Softener. Detergent should only be added to compartment I if the pre-wash function is selected.

Control Panel: The control panel features buttons for On/Off, Delay, Temp., Speed, Start/Pause, and a display for program information, estimated remaining time, options, and status messages (e.g., wash time, delay time, spin speed, error codes, door lock status, child lock status).

Options:

  • Delay: Allows setting a delayed start time from 0-24 hours.
  • My Cycle: Stores a frequently used program for quick selection.
  • Child Lock: Prevents accidental operation by children. Activated by pressing "Temp." and "Speed" buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds.
  • Spin Speed: Adjustable to different RPMs.
  • Temp.: Adjusts washing temperature.
  • Mute the buzzer: Silences the appliance's sound signals.
  • Dry Level: Selects the desired drying intensity (Extra Dry, Normal Dry, Gentle Dry).

Safety Instructions:

  • Warning! ELECTRIC SHOCK HAZARD: Do not use multiple plugs or extension cords. The appliance must not have an external switching device. Do not pull the plug out of the mains outlet if there is flammable gas around. Never pull out power plug with wet hands. Always pull at the plug, not at the cable. Always unplug the appliance if it is not being used.
  • Children Safety: Not suitable for use by children under 8 years old or persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities without supervision. Children should not play with the appliance.
  • Installation Location: Do not install on carpet, in humid environments, or rooms containing explosive or caustic gas. Ensure proper ventilation.
  • Operation and Maintenance: Never stop the dryer before the end of the drying cycle unless all items are quickly removed and spread out to dissipate heat. Do not use flammable, explosive, or toxic solvents. Remove all objects from pockets before washing. Thoroughly rinse items that have been washed by hand. Do not dry unwashed items. Do not overload the machine.
  • Transport: Remove transport bolts before moving. This appliance is heavy; transport with care.

Maintenance Features

Regular maintenance is crucial for the appliance's longevity and optimal performance.

Cleaning and Care:

  • General Cleaning: Always unplug the appliance and close the water tap before cleaning. Use non-abrasive neutral detergents. Do not use sharp items.
  • Cleaning the Drum: Remove any rust stains left inside the drum by metal articles. Never use steel wool. Keep laundry away from the machine while cleaning the drum.
  • Cleaning the Door Seal and Glass: Wipe the glass and seal after each wash to remove lint and stains.
  • Cleaning the Inlet Filter:
    1. Close the tap and remove the water supply hose.
    2. Clean the filter with a brush.
    3. Unscrew the water supply hose from the backside of the machine.
    4. Pull out the filter with long-nose pliers.
    5. Reinstall the filter and reconnect the water supply hose.
    6. Clean the inlet filter every 3 months.
  • Cleaning the Detergent Dispenser:
    1. Press down the release button on the softener cover and pull the dispenser drawer out.
    2. Clean the inside of the recess with a brush.
    3. Lift the softener cover off the dispenser drawer and wash both items with water.
    4. Restore the softener cover and push the drawer back into the recess.
    • Caution: Do not use abrasive or caustic agents. Clean the detergent dispenser every 3 months.
  • Cleaning the Drain Pump Filter:
    1. Be careful of hot water! Allow detergent solution to cool down.
    2. Unplug the machine to avoid electrical shock.
    3. Drain pump filter can filter yarns and small foreign matters from the washing.
    4. Clean the filter periodically (every 3 months) to ensure normal operation.
    5. After power is disconnected, pull out the Dam-Board.
    6. Turn the filter down as shown and take out sundries.
    7. Reinstall all parts back after sundries are removed.
    • Caution: Make sure emergency drain hose cap and the emergency drain hose are reinstalled properly, otherwise water may leak.

Trouble Shooting: The manual provides a table for common problems, possible causes, and solutions (e.g., appliance not starting, water leakage, detergent residues, abnormal noise). It also lists error codes (E30, E10, E21, E12, EXX) with their corresponding causes and solutions.

Built-in Installation: The manual includes detailed steps and diagrams for built-in installation, including:

  • Warning: When installing into the kitchen furniture, ensure hoses are placed in recesses on the back of the appliance to prevent kinking or trapping.
