INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
MAINTENANCE
See video instructions of the PondAir maintenace
online crystalclearpond.com/pondair
Warning: Before performing any maintenance or cleaning, always unplug
the compressor from the power source.
Compressor Diaphragm
Over time the compressor diaphragm can become worn. This will greatly reduce
the air output of the unit. We recommend replacing the diaphragm every 6-12
months. See REPLACEMENT PARTS below for diaphragm kits.
Air Stones
Through normal use, the air stones will eventually become clogged with
buildup and debris. Periodically clean air stones throughout the season. We
recommend replacing the air stones every season for maximum performance. See
REPLACEMENT PARTS below for replacement air stones.
TROUBLESHOOTING
If you have loss of airow, check the following:
Check to make sure the airow regulator on top of the compressor has not been
turned down.
• Check air filter for excessive dust and debris and clean.
• Check the airline for signs of leaks or clogging.
Check the airline for kinks restricting airow.
• Check air stones for excessive buildup and clean or replace.
If the above has been checked and airow is still reduced, it may be time to
replace your diaphragm.
