SAT
FREQUENCY
One
of
Three
different
Sat
frequencies
are
transmitted
at
a
deviation
level
of
2.0
· kHz
in
the
cellular
system.
The
SAT
frequencies
of
5970Hz,
6000
Hz,
and
6030
Hz,
are
used
to
establish
a
connection
with
a
cellular
telephone
on
a
voice
channel
from
the
cell
site.
The
three
SAT
frequen-
cies
available
in
a
cellular
system
may
be
selected
by
pressing
any
num-
ber
key
on
the
Model-2500.
When
the
desired
SAT
frequency
is
displayed,
press
the
"ENTER"
key
to
save
the
new
SAT
frequency
in
the
non-volatile
memory.
Digital
Color
Code
(DCC)
Four
digital
color
codes
may
be
programmed
in
the
Model-2500.
four
digital
color
codes
available
may
be
selected
by
pressing
key
on
the
Model-2500.
When
the
desired
digital
color
code
is
(0,1,2,3),
press
the
"ENTER"
key
to
save
the
new
digital
color
Equipment
Serial
Number
Format
<ESN>
One
of
the
any
number
displayed
code.
This
parameter
allows
the
cellular
telephone's
equipment
serial
number
to
be
displayed
in
either
"HEX"
(hexadecimal)
format
or
"STANDARD"
(standard
decimal)
format.
One
of
the
two
ESN
formats
available
may
be
selected
by
pressing
any
number
key
on
the
Model-2500.
When
the
desired
ESN
format
is
displayed,
press
the
"ENTER"
key
to
save
the
new
format.
<NOTE: When
running
a
printout
after
autotest
both
formats
will
be
displayed.>
Forward
Control
Channel
<FOCC)
The
forward
control
channel
is
the
channel
that
the
cellular
telephone
will
initially
scan
and
lock
on
to.
The
forward
control
channel
normally
resides
in
a
range
from
channel
313
to
333
for
System
A
providers
and
channel
334
to
354
for
System
B
providers.
When a
mobile
has
locked
on
a
valid
control
channel,
the
"NO
SERVICE"
indicator
on
the
cellular
tele-
phone
will
turn
off.
To
program
a
new
forward
control
channel,
enter
a
number
that
corresponds
to
the
channel
desired,
and
then
press
the
"ENTER
key.
Initial
Voice
Channel
This
is
the
first
voice
channel
that
will
be
assigned
to
a
cellular
tele-
phone
upon
originating
or
receiving
a
call
from
the
Model-2500.
To
pro-
gram
a
new
initial
voice
channel,
enter
in
a
number
that
corresponds
to
the
channel
desired,
and
press
the
"ENTER"
key.
Last
Voice
Channel
This
is
the
last
voice
channel
that
will
be
assigned
to
a
cellular
tele-
phone
during
an
automatic
hand-off
test
in
the
AUTOMATIC
TEST
mode.
To
program
a
new
last
voice
channel,
enter
in
a
number
that
corresponds
to
the
channel
desired,
and
then
press
the
"ENTER"
key.
