Charging with a home energy management system
Departure time settings
When a charging location has been created,
the high-voltage battery can be charged for a
certain time.
Set the departure time

Press the e-Manager button in the infotain-
ment system's vehicle settings ›››page35.

Click on the “Routines” tab.
●
Open the prole of a charging location.
●
Set a departure time (maximum of three per
location).

Days of the week.
–
Time at which the high-voltage battery
should be charged.

Use once or weekly.
Air conditioning
The vehicle interior is cooled or heated for the
departure time by the stationary air condition-
ing. The operation depends on the equipment.

Set the desired temperature in the stationary
air conditioning menu ›››page136.
●
Select the Charge and air conditioning
prior to departure function from the drop-
down list of charging modes.
Activate a departure time
●
Click on the “Routines” tab.
●
Open the prole of a charging location.
●
Activate the departure time by checking the
checkbox .
●
Select the desired programmed charging
mode on the charging mode selector.
Displays
The departure time is used weekly.

The departure menu remembers the active
charging mode and gives the option to mod-
ify it ›››page37.

Charging with solar energy
The vehicle uses the available solar energy and
is charged according to the specications of a
home energy management system.
Prerequisites

Compatible home energy management sys-
tem (HEMS).
●
Compatible charging station.
●
A charging location (routine) has been cre-
ated in the Infotainment system.
Note
Ask specialist personnel for conrmation
about a suitable home energy management
system. It is recommended to use a CUPRA
partner.
Functionality
The high-voltage battery is charged by solar
power when the solar power system produces
more electricity than is needed in the home,
on sunny days for example.
Selecting the charging mode

Press on the drop-down charging mode
list and select Charge with solar energy
›››page80.
The charging process starts automatically.
