Automatic Parking System
Plus with memory func-
tion
Introduction
The Automatic Parking System Plus with mem-
ory function oers assistance when parking in
frequently used parking spaces. The vehicle
automatically manoeuvres along a previously
saved route to the parking space.
The availability of the Automatic Parking Sys-
tem Plus with memory function depends on
the vehicle’s equipment.
How it works
The Automatic Parking System Plus with mem-
ory function is an extension of the Automatic
Parking System.
This parking system uses the front camera to
detect the surrounding area and saves the
route to the parking space, with a maximum
distance of 50m. Once the parking process
is saved in the Assistant, the vehicle is able to
reach the parking space automatically.
The driver must monitor the area around the
vehicle at all times ››› .
Automatic braking may occur if there are ob-
stacles in the vehicle’s path or if a dangerous
situation arises.
Prerequisites
●
GPS coordinates of the vehicle's position are
available.
●
Suicient space for manoeuvring. The vehi-
cle may have to travel a few meters to reach
the programmed parking route.
WARNING
The smart technology used in parking sys-
tems cannot ignore the laws of physics and
only works within the limits of the system.
Failure to take this into account may result
in accidents and serious injuries, as well as
damage to the vehicle.
●
Pay attention to the parking process and
the traic around you. Look in the direction
that the vehicle is parking.
●
Do not use the Automatic Parking System
Plus with memory function in parking spaces
where there are no dened boundaries, e.g.
near the edge of lakes or rivers or near un-
fenced slopes.
WARNING
The driver is responsible for automatic park-
ing at all times. There is a risk of accidents.
●
Only park the vehicle if you have a valid
driver’s license.
●
Follow the traic regulations of the country
you are in.
●
Do not leave the driver’s seat at any point
during the parking manoeuvre.
●
If necessary, operate the turn signals your-
self.
●
Use the brake pedal to slow down or even
stop the vehicle in dangerous situations.
WARNING
The system is only capable of a limited re-
sponse to sudden changes in external condi-
tions. Collisions with other road users may
occur.
●
Do not use the parking system when traic
speeds are in excess of 50 km/h (30 mph).
●
Always keep a safety distance of at least
one vehicle length at junctions.
●
Do not perform automatic parking from
the other side of the road or across several
lanes.
