Driving
Four-wheel drive (4Drive)
Modify the transmission to adjust the vehicle’s
traction capacity to the road surface. The ac-
celeration capacity from a standstill will also be
modied.
Steering
The operation of the power steering is modi-
ed and adapted to the selected prole to of-
fer the best behaviour for each situation.
Air conditioning
Climatronic can operate in Eco mode, espe-
cially restricting fuel consumption.
Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC)
Depending on the driving prole, the perform-
ance of the ACC to allow adaptation to a
speed that is more sporty or fuel consump-
tion-friendly.
PreCrash system
The PreCrash system adapts according to the
selected conguration ›››page51.
The Cupra and Oroad driving proles have
specic settings to adapt them to driving char-
acteristics .
Engine torque distribution
This distributes torque as appropriate between
the rear wheels, giving more traction on cor-
ners.

The drive prole can be selected when the ig-
nition is switched on and the vehicle is station-
ary or moving ››› .
Selecting a driving prole

Press the function button > Drive Prole,
available proles will be displayed.

OR: With the Infotainment System turned
o, by pressing on the Drive Prole icon, the
available driving proles will be displayed.

OR: Briey press the ›››Fig.125 (arrow)
button to change the driving prole. Press and
hold the button to access the Cupra prole
directly.
Displaying the drive prole information

To display more information on the selected
drive prole, press Information in the infotain-
ment system.
WARNING
Adjusting the driving prole while driving can
distract attention from traic and cause acci-
dents.

Always drive with attention to traic and in
a responsible manner.
Characteristics of driving proles
The icon of the selected prole is displayed at
all times in the upper central part of the instru-
ment panel and on the Infotainment System
screen when it is turned o.
