BRUSHING WITH BRACES:
INSTRUCTIONS
Brackets axed on the teeth create additional niches
to clean. Taking good care of these niches is a deciding
factor in oral health. Whether you have brackets,
lingual brackets or retainers – thanks to the Hydrosonic
Ortho, brushing is easy and your teeth stay healthy.
Basic cleaning
Using the «sensitive» or «power» brush head, go from
tooth to tooth between your bracket and gum line,
so above or below the bracket only, in one of the «clean»
to «smile» levels. This means you’re also cleaning your
gum line at the same time. Finally, clean the other side of
your bracket, moving from tooth to tooth again.
Brackets
How to clean contact points: Using the «single»
attachment, apply minimal movements to go around the
brackets, nice and slowly, with almost no pressure,
in the «start» mode.
Lingual brackets and retainers
The same goes for brackets secured to the backs of your
teeth. Using the «single» attachment, go nice and slowly
along the lingual brackets or retainer with almost no
pressure, in the «start» mode. Thanks to CURACURVE
®
,
these areas on the backs of your teeth are easy to reach.
