Brake Controls
Checklist before you start riding
1. Check the wheels are mounted properly
2. Check tire pressure is correct
3. Check the pedals are firmly attached
4. Ensure the brakes work properly.
5. Check the tightness of the chain.
6. Check the gear function.
7. Check all bolts, nuts, and screws are tightened.
8. Check the power indication via the LED’s on the battery/module.
9. Check the tightness of saddle.
Please ensure that if you intend to ride at night, you have installed appropriate lights and checked that
they are working.
The Left brake level activates front brakes The Right brake lever activates Rear brake
Always use both brakes together
The left derailleur shifts the front chainring (1-3), the right shifts the rear freewheel (1-7). To shift, you
must be pedaling. The lower thumb switch will click when it shifts down, the top trigger shifts up.
