The CYPRES closing loop is far safer than previ-
ous loops because:
- the extra thin, exible and slippery loop ma-
terial reduces the possibility of the loop jam-
ming in the grommets dramatically
- loop tearing is extremely reduced, because the
fastening disc has no sharp edges
- the tensile strength is far greater (in excess of
440 lbs) than with former loops
- the extremely thin material which is impreg-
nated with silicone reduces the pull force
which is required to pull the ripcord up to 50%
(although the tension on the container remains
the same)
