TIRE PRESSURE
Keep your tires inated to the recommended ination pressure level of 50PSI.
Pressure below the recommended level will decrease range. Be cautious of
your tire wearing down, thin and balding tires will decrease range.
3.5 Maximizing Your Dragonys Range
Your Dragonys max range will be affected by certain variables:
BATTERY CONDITION
Always take proper care of your battery, making sure it is charged
appropriately. A well-maintained battery provides consistently greater
range. Please note that batteries will decline in performance if they are
older, have over 500 recharges, are heavily used and poorly charged and/or
kept in the cold.
TEMPERATURE
Riding, storing and charging your vehicle within our recommended
temperature range (3.4.1) helps maintain optimal battery performance to
achieve the best range. Riding in temperatures below our recommended
temperature range reduces range and battery performance.
RIDING CONDITIONS
The weather you ride in will greatly affect the Dragonys max range. Riding
against windy and more challenging conditions will decrease range. Dry
and non-windy conditions will enable you to maximize range. Riding in the
direction of wind ow will increase range.
RIDING SURFACE
Riding on at, smooth and even surfaces will improve range. Riding on
uneven, rugged surfaces will decrease range. You should always ride on at,
clean, dry and level surfaces, away from other vehicles and pedestrians.
RIDING STYLE
Maintaining a continued, moderate riding speed will improve range.
Frequent start and stops, and acceleration and deceleration will decrease
range.
REGENERATIVE BRAKING
To improve your battery eciency and range up to 10%, try to maximise the
benets of the regenerative braking using the motors. This will also reduce
rear brake wear. Refer to the Braking section of this manual (4.6).
CARGO WEIGHT
A higher cargo weight will decrease range.
