To clear the Switch’s statistics counters.
clear counters{ports
<portlist>}
The clear counters command clears the counters used by the
Switch to compile statistics.
ports <portlist> - Specifies the counters of ports to be cleared.
Only Administrator or operator-level users can issue this command.
Example usage:
To clear the counters:
DES-1210-52/ME:5# clear counters
Success.
DES-1210-52/ME:5#
To save the Switch’s history log.
The save log command saves the Switch’s history log.
Only Administrator or operator-level users can issue this command.
Example usage:
To save the log information:
DES-1210-52/ME:5# save log
Command: save log
Success.
DES-1210-52/ME:5#
To clear the Switch’s history log.
