D-LINK UNIDIRECTIONAL LINK DETECTION (DULD)
COMMANDS
The D-Link Unidirectional Link Detection (DULD) commands in the Command Line Interface (CLI) are
listed (along with the appropriate parameters) in the following table.
[<portlist> | all] {state [enable | disable] | mode [shutdown | normal] |
discovery_time <sec 5-65535>}
config duld
recover_timer
Each command is listed in detail, as follows:
To configure unidirectional link detection on ports.
config duld ports [<portlist> | all] {state [enable | disable] |
mode [shutdown | normal] | discovery_time <sec 5-65535>}
Unidirectional link detection provides discovery mechanism based
on 802.3ah to discovery its neighbor. If the OAM discovery can
complete in configured discovery time, it concludes the link is
bidirectional. Otherwise, it starts detecting task to detect the link
status.
[<portlist> | all] – Specifies a port, a range of ports or all ports to be
configured.
state [enable | disable] – Specifies the unidirectional link detection
status to be enabled or disabled.
mode [shutdown | normal] – Specifies the mode the unidirectional
link detection will be set to.
shutdown – If any unidirectional link is detected, disable the
port and log an event.
normal – Only log an event when a unidirectional link is
detected.
discovery_time
– Enter the discovery time value
here. This value must be between 5 and 65535.
Only Administrator and operator-level users can issue this
command.
