Syntax
show smtp
Description
The show smtp command displays the SMTP server settings on the
Switch.
Parameters
None.
Restrictions
None.
Example usage:
To display SMTP information on the Switch:
DES-1210-52/ME:5# show smtp
Command: show smtp
smtp status : Enable
smtp server address : 0.0.0.0
smtp server port : 25
self mail address : dlink@mail.com.tw

smtp sent_testmsg
Purpose
To send test messages to all mail recipients configured on the
Switch.
Syntax
smtp sent_testmsg
Description
The smtp sent_testmsg command is used to send test messages
to all mail recipients configured on the Switch.
Parameters
None.
Restrictions
Only Administrator and Operator-level users can issue this
command.
Example usage:
To send SMTP test message to all mail receivers:
DES-1210-52/ME:5# smtp sent_testmsg
Command: smtp sent_testmsg
Subject: This is a SMTP test
Content: Hello everybody!!
