LOOPBACK DETECTION COMMANDS
The Loopback Detection commands in the Command Line Interface (CLI) are listed (along with the
appropriate parameters) in the following table.
[<portlist> | all] state [enable | disable]
interval_time <value 1-32767> lbd_recover_time [0 | <value 60-1000000>]
{ports [<portlist> | all]}
Each command is listed in detail, as follows:
To enable the loop back detection on the Switch.
The enable loopdetect command enables the loop back detection
on the Switch.
Only administrator -level users can issue this command.
Example usage:
To enable the loopback detection feature on the Switch:
DES-1210-52/ME:5# enable loopdetect
Command: enable loopdetect
Success.
DES-1210-52/ME:5#
To disable the loop back detection on the Switch.
The disable loopdetect command disables the loop back detection
on the Switch.
Only administrator-level users can issue this command.
