The speed limiter function controls the
enginetohelpyounottoexceedadri
ving speed that you have chosen,
known as the limit speed.
Thespeedlimiterfunctioncanbeacti
vated from 0 mph to 112 mph (180 km/
h).

tion" function 🡺228.
Controls

Switch to activate and increase the
limit speed ( SET/+ ).

Depending on the vehicle, road sign
detection activation switch 🡺228.

Switch for selecting/deselecting the
driving aids, depending on the vehicle:
– cruise control;
– speed limiter;
– OFF.

Switch the function to standby, with
limit speed stored (0).

Recall the stored cruising speed (
RES ).

Switch to activate and decrease the
limit speed ( SET/˗ ).
When "OFF" mode is selected before
the ignition is switched off, the "Speed
limiter"functionwillbeactivatedbyde
faultthenexttimetheengineisstart
ed.
Driving
When a limit speed has been set but
not yet reached, driving is similar to
drivingavehiclewithoutthespeedlim
iter function.
Once you have reached the stored
speed, no effort on the accelerator
pedalwillallowyoutoexceedthepro
grammedspeedexceptinanemer
gency(refertoinformationon"Ex
ceeding the limit speed").

Press switch

up grey on the instrument panel. The
"Speed limiter ON" message appears
on the instrument panel accompanied
by dashes to indicate that the speed
limiterfunctionisinoperationandwait
ing to store a limit speed.
To store the current speed, press
switch

( SET/+ ) or switch

): the limit speed replaces the dashes
and,dependingonthevehicle,thein
dicator light

appears in white.
The minimum speed that can be
stored is 19 mph (30 km/h).
