Stopping the system
Press the button 9 :
– the air conditioning or heating stops
automatically;

senger compartment is zero;
– –thereis,however,aslightflowof
air when the vehicle is moving.
This position should not normally be
used.
Switching the air conditioning on or
off
The control 5 authorises activation
(warning light on) or deactivation
(warninglightoff)oftheaircondition
ing.
The system cannot be switched on if
the ventilation power is zero.
The air conditioning system is used
for:
– lowering the temperature inside the
passenger compartment;
– eliminating condensation more
quickly.
Recommendation: to optimise vehicle
range, deactivate the air conditioning
whentheoutsidetemperatureiscom
fortable.
Automatic mode

The automatic climate control system
guarantees comfort in the passenger
compartmentandgoodvisibility(ex
ceptintheeventofextremecondi
tions),whileoptimisingfuelconsump
tion.
The system controls the ventilation
speed, air distribution, air recirculation,
andstartingandstoppingtheaircondi
tioning and air temperature.
This mode consists of a choice of
three programmes:
AUTO: optimises the selected comfort
level according to exterior conditions.
Press the button 13 .
SOFT:enablesthedesiredtempera
tureleveltobeobtainedmoresmooth
ly and silently. Press button 13 then
press downwards again to activate
SOFT mode.
FAST: increases the air flow in the
passenger compartment. This mode is
recommended in particular to optimise
comfort in the rear seats. Press button
13 thenpressupwardsagaintoacti
vate FAST mode.
Whentheairconditioningstartsinau
tomatic mode, the system returns to
the last programme used.
