Selecting reverse gear
(vehicle stationary)
Vehicle with a manual gearbox: shift
the lever to Neutral, then shift the lever
to Reverse.
Observe the grid marked on the knob
1 and lift the ring 2 up against the
knob in order to engage reverse gear.
Vehicles with an automatic gearbox

The reversing light(s) will illuminate
when the reverse gear is selected
(with the ignition on).

P : park
R : reverse gear
N : neutral
D: automatic mode
L : "Low" mode
The 4 display on the instrument panel
indicates the gear lever position en-
gaged 1 .
Note: press the 2 button to:
– exit position P;
– shift from D, L or N position to R or
Pposition;
– shift from D position to L position.
Operation
With the selection lever 1 in Pposition,
press the brake pedal then start the
engine.
To move out of P position, you must
press the brake pedal before pressing
the unlocking button 2 .
