Driver's responsibility
If you decide to keep the
doors locked when you
are driving, remember
that it may be more difficult for
those assisting you to gain ac-
cess to the passenger compart-
ment in the event of an emer-
gency.

With the doors unlocked, press the

button or, depending on the vehicle,
press the

(button (on the key or
card) and the luggage compartment
door opens automatically.
Note: ensure that there is enough
space around the luggage compart-
ment door before opening it.
Note: in very cold weather conditions,
the automatic opening may not work if
the tailgate seals are frozen.
When opening or closing
the boot lid, ensure that
nothing interferes with the
manoeuvre.
Ensure that nobody is
close to the moving parts
when opening the lug-
gage compartment door.
Risk of injury.
As a safety precaution,
the doors should only be
opened/closed when the
vehicle is stationary.

The attaching of any car-
rying device (bike rack,
luggage box, etc.) rest-
ing on the luggage com-
partment lid is prohibited. To in-
stall a carrying device on your ve-
hicle, contact an approved dealer.
