Warnings
The passenger airbag
may only be deactivated
or activated while the ve-
hicle is stationary with
the ignition off.
Front passenger airbag deacti-
vation
Before installing a child seat on the
front passenger seat:
– check that the child seat can be in-
stalled on this seat;
– you must deactivate the passenger
airbag for a rear-facing child seat.
To deactivate the airbag : with the
vehicle stationary and the ignition
switched off, push and turn the lock

to the OFF position.
When the ignition is switched on, you
must check that the warning
light is illuminated on the display

This warning light remains continu-
ously lit to let you know that you
can fit a child seat.
DANGER
Since operation of the
front passenger airbag is
not compatible with the
position of a rear-facing child
seat, NEVER fit a rear-facing
child restraint system in a seat
protected by a front AIRBAG that
is ACTIVATED. This may lead to
the DEATH of the CHILD or their
SERIOUS INJURY.
