Function Description

This is complemented by a powerful deodorization capability, achieved through photocatalytic oxidation (PCO) using nano-porous structured titanium dioxide, which targets and neutralizes unpleasant odors.

For comprehensive air purification, the device features a dual filtration system. This system includes a replacement-free PCO mesh unit and a blue light PCO honeycomb module, working in tandem to capture and break down pollutants. The PCO mesh unit is specifically designed for the removal of VOCs and fine dust, ensuring that the air circulated back into the room is clean and fresh.

Usage Features

The Puripot device is designed for flexible placement and ease of use. It boasts a compatible dual design, allowing it to be used as either a wall-mountable unit or a stand-type device. For stand-type installation, users can choose between short legs or a long leg, which are easily attached with provided screws. The short legs are fastened to the right lower part and the other side of the product, while the long leg fits into a hole on the rear and is secured with two screws. For wall-mounting (frame type), a mounting bracket is screwed into the wall, and the main body is then mounted onto one of two grooves on the bracket, offering different angles (7° or 12°) between the wall and the top of the body.

Operation is straightforward with a single power/operation mode button and a mood light button. The operation mode cycles through five settings: Level 1, Level 2, Level 3, AUTO, and Power OFF. In AUTO mode, the device's sensor monitors air quality and automatically adjusts the fan speed (Level 1, 2, or 3) accordingly, with the upper three LEDs blinking every second to indicate this mode. The mood light also has five brightness levels: 25%, 50%, 75%, 100%, and Power OFF, allowing users to set the ambiance. Previous settings for both operation mode and mood light brightness are saved even after the device is powered off and on.

For optimal air cleaning efficiency, it is recommended to install the Puripot in a position facing a window, air conditioner, or fan. In situations with strong odors, opening a window and using the Puripot simultaneously can further enhance its effectiveness. The VOC sensor requires an adaptation period of 6 to 12 hours after initial power connection to adjust to the surrounding environment, ensuring accurate readings.

Maintenance Features

Maintaining the Puripot device is designed to be simple and convenient, particularly concerning its PCO mesh unit. Unlike traditional filters that require periodic replacement, the PCO mesh unit is replacement-free. This significantly reduces ongoing costs and environmental waste.

To clean the PCO mesh unit, users first detach the bottom grill by pulling its handles down. Once the grill is removed, the PCO mesh unit can be easily pulled out. Cleaning can be performed using one of three methods: a soft cloth, running water (ensuring it is completely dried before re-insertion), or a vacuum cleaner. After cleaning and ensuring the mesh unit is dry, it is re-inserted into the main body in the direction of the arrow until it clicks into the latch, and then the bottom grill is pushed back into place, ensuring the "TOP" mark on the grill is correctly oriented.

Regular cleaning of the PCO mesh unit, air inlets, and sensing area is crucial for maintaining optimal performance. Dust accumulation can reduce sensing accuracy and overall efficiency. The cleaning cycle may vary depending on the usage environment, but the ease of cleaning ensures that the device can consistently deliver high-quality air purification.
