Engine coolant
Coolant level
Check the level of coolant by the
reservoir installed at upper side of
radiator. Use clean rain water or city
water for the cooling system and
avoid the use of hard water such as
drawn out of a well. Never open the
pressure cap while the engine is not
or hot steam may blow out causing
serious injuries.
Change of coolants
Drain the coolant by opening the
drain cock of radiator. After com-
pletely draining off, close the drain
cock and fill with new coolant. Run
the engine for about 10 minutes and
then recheck the coolant level.
In the case that antifreeze is added
to coolant, it is advisable to clean the
inside of the radiator and engine
water jacket 2 times a year(in spring
and autumn).

In order to avoid the accumulate
of scale, corrosion for the entire
cooling system and damage from
cavitation, coolant mixed with 30%
of antifreeze solution should be
used all year around.
Some regions where antifreeze
solution is not easy to purchase,
cavitation protection solution
“Inhibitor” could be used, never-
theless antifreeze solution is the
best way to have maximum ser-
vice life.
