2.2 FUNCTION OF THE EMERGENCY SELECTOR
It is still possible to change all the gears even
without pneumatic power if the air pressure
should fail.
In such case, a small amount of play between
the selector shaft (3) and the attachment pin (4)
will have to be bypassed before the selector
finger (1) is operated. The hollow shaft (2) will
be operated by the Servoshift operating cylinder
if the system is working properly.
