Situation with integrated air distribution block
The gate protection only operates in the low
range. The low range is registered by the
low-range switch (2). It prevents shifting from
third or fourth gear (gate 3-4) to first or second
gear (gate 1-2) if the vehicle speed is too high.
This shifting error occurs if the driver fails to use
the range-change gear at the front of the gear
lever to switch to the high range before shifting
from fourth to fifth gear.
