Filling, gearbox (after repair or with a new
gearbox)

1. Place the vehicle on a level surface.
2. Fill the oil through the filler openings (5)
until the oil reaches the rim of the level
check/filler opening (4).
3. After filling take a short test drive. The
intarder must be briefly fully activated at
the beginning of the test drive.
4. After the test drive, check the oil level. The
oil level must reach the rim of the level
check/filler opening (4).
5. Tighten the filler plug (5) and the level
check plug (4) to the specified torque. See
“Technical data”.
