Assembly, DAF engine PTO housing
1. If necessary, press the two outer bearing
races into the PTO housing.
2. If necessary, press the inner bearing onto
the prop shaft.
3. Fit the assembly consisting of inner races,
filler sleeve and shims (made earlier with
the aid of the driving tool) onto the prop
shaft (take note of the position of the filler
sleeve relative to the prop shaft: the
reconditioned rim must point towards the
bearing).

4. If necessary, fit the needle bearing for the
short drive shaft into the prop shaft.
