The top camera mount of both the MSDAU (if supplied with a camera) or the Camera
Mount share a common pendant mount with an internal 1.5” NPT thread. This
mechanical interface allows any of the three Dahua cameras to be mounted on either an
MSDAU or the passive Camera Mount. A Dahua 44212 camera mounted on a Camera
Mount is shown below.
An MSDAU with or without a camera and the passive Camera Mount share a common
System Mounting Assembly. The System Mounting Assembly consists of two black
plates attached to each other at a right angle. The bottom plate has a 5/8-11 threaded
socket for attachment to a standard surveying-type tripod. The back plate includes four
threaded holes to which either the pole mount adapter or the building corner mount
adapter, shown above, may be attached.
