Method of
Malfunction
Detection
A fan motor or related error is detected by checking the high-voltage fan motor rpm being
detected by the Hall IC.
Malfunction
Decision
Conditions
The fan does not start in 30 seconds even when the fan motor is running.
The system will be shut down if the error occurs 16 times.
Clearing condition: Continuous run for about 10 minutes.

Fan motor breakdown
Harness or connector disconnected between fan motor and PCB or in poor contact
Foreign matters stuck in the fan

or parts damage may be occurred.

Get started.
Check No. 15
Check the outdoor unit PCB rpm
pulse input.
Turn off the power and
reconnect the connector.
Remove.
Replace the outdoor unit fan
motor.
Replace the outdoor unit
PCB.
