Method of Error Detection
Abnormality of fan motor system is detected according to
the fan speed detected by hall IC when the fan motor
runs.
Error Decision Conditions
When the fan runs with speed less than a specified
one for 15 seconds or more when the fan motor
running conditions are met
When connector detecting fan speed is disconnected
When the error is generated 4 times, the system shuts
down.
Supposed Causes
Defective fan motor
The harness connector between fan motor and PCB is
left in disconnected, or defective connector
Fan does not run due to foreign matters tangled
Defective outdoor unit PCB
Blowout of fuse
External factor (Noise, etc.)
