Defective heat exchanger thermistor
Defective heat exchanger thermistor’s connector

Defective outdoor unit PCB
Troubleshooting
Caution
Be sure to turn off the power switch before
connecting or disconnecting connectors, or parts
may be damaged.
Is the
thermistor normal?
NO
YES
Replace the heat
exchanger
thermistor.
If contact is OK,
replace the
outdoor unit
PCB.
Disconnect the heat
exchanger thermistor
from the connector on the
outdoor unit PCB and
measure the resistance.
