Fan Motor Pulse Check
(1) Set operation OFF and power OFF. Disconnect the
connector.
(2) Check that the voltage between the pins 3 - 4 is about
15 VDC.
(3) Check that the voltage between the pins 1 - 4 is about
5 VDC.
(4) Keep operation OFF and power OFF. Connect the
connector.
(5) Check whether 2 pulses (0 and 5 VDC) are output 4
times at the pins 1 - 4 when the fan motor is rotated 1
turn by hand.
Check Measure
If NG in steps 2 and 3
Defective PCB
Replace the outdoor unit PCB.
If NG in step 5
Defective Hall IC
Replace the outdoor unit fan
motor.
If OK in steps 2, 3 and 5 Replace the outdoor unit PCB.
