Ensure all doors and windows are closed to prevent outside air from affecting the unit's performance. Sunlight generating excessive heat can also impact cooling, so close windows and curtains. Reduce the number of heat sources in the room, like computers or electronics. Check if the air filter is dirty and clean it if necessary. Also, make sure that the air inlet or outlet of either unit is not blocked. If the 'SILENCE' function is on, turn it off. Low refrigerant may also be the reason, so check for leaks, reseal if necessary, and top off the refrigerant. Clean the affected heat exchanger.
