Conguration
13
Congure the Target Dimensions as either Automatic or Manual to position the incoming
video signal on the display. With Automatic, the controller handles content placement
and positioning and the dimensions will match the congured display size. With Manual,
the user manually denes the content placement and positioning. Refer to Figure 17.
Note: Take care to avoid shifting the output from the display’s viewable area.
Note: Do not use this feature unless instructed to do so by Daktronics technicians.

Test Pattern
Test patterns are used during display installation, troubleshooting, and display operation
when no video sources are available. Select Test Pattern from the Display Mode drop-
down list to open the Test Pattern drop-down list.
Enter 0 in the Minimum Hold Time (Seconds) eld and click the Test Pattern drop-down
list to see the full list of available test patterns. The minimum hold time denes the time
between pattern changes for tests that consist of multiple patterns. Some moving test
patterns run at a set speed and are listed in the test pattern drop-down list only if the
minimum hold time is congured to 0. Refer to Figure 18 and Figure 19.

After selecting a test pattern from the drop-down list, click Save to start the test pattern.
Note: Test patterns play immediately when selected, interrupt any currently playing
video, and continue to run until the Display Mode is changed.
Change the Color Adjustment settings, the Source Dimensions, and the Target
Dimensions as described in DVI (p.11).
