Test to Run
Select the desired hardware test from the
drop-down list as shown in Figure 74.
The available tests for the Display Interface
(ProLink 6) device are described below.
• Signal Backbone - Port A Health - This
tests the ProLink 6 connections via ber
Port A on the PLRs. If the PLR Port A ber
is disconnected, the modules connected
to that PLR turn red. Refer to Figure 75.
If the PLR has proper connection and
communication via Port A, the modules
connected to that PLR turn green.
• Signal Backbone - Port B Health - This tests the ProLink 6 connections via ber Port B on
the PLRs. If the PLR Port B ber is disconnected, the modules connected to that PLR
turn red. Refer to Figure 75. If the PLR has proper connection and communication via
Port B, the modules connected to that PLR turn green.
• Output to Module - Port A Health - This tests the SATA Port A on the PLR. If the SATA
Port A is connected to the modules properly, all the modules turn green. If SATA
Port A is not connected to the modules correctly, all the modules turn red. Refer to
Figure 75.
• Output to Module - Port B Health - This tests the SATA Port B on the PLR. If the SATA Port
B is connected to the modules properly, all the modules turn green. If SATA Port B is
not connected to the modules correctly, all the modules turn red. Refer to Figure 75.

• EPLD - This tests the EPLD rmware. If all EPLD rmware is the same, all the modules
turn green. If there are modules with different rmware, all the modules connected to
those PLRs turn red.
