• Module - Port B Health - This tests the ProLink 5 connections via SATA Port B on
the modules. If the SATA cable coming from Port B on a module is disconnected,
the modules that do not have a connection to Port B turn red. If the module has
proper connection and communication via Port B, the modules turn green. Refer to
Figure 78.

• ProLink Address - This tests the display wiring. The modules show their unique,
dynamically-assigned ProLink address. If any address is repeated, there is a wiring
problem. The rst module off the ProLink 6 Port A path has the address number 0
and this number increases by one for each module. Follow the wiring layout in the
translation table to verify the address that each module should display.
• EPLD - This tests the EPLD rmware. If all EPLD rmware is the same, all the modules
turn green. If there are modules with different rmware, all the modules connected to
those PLRs turn red.
• Micro - This tests the Micro rmware. If all Micro rmware is the same, all the modules
turn green. If there are modules with different rmware, all the modules connected to
those PLRs turn red.
• Hardware Id - This tests the hardware ID versions. If all the hardware ID versions are
the same, all the modules turn green. If there are modules with different hardware ID
versions, all the modules connected to those PLRs turn red.
• Temperature - This indicates if a module is too hot or cold. If a module is too hot or
cold, it turns red. If the module temperature is within the acceptable range, it turns
green.
