Setting pCOe and c.pCOe Expansion Modules
The Carel pCOe or C.pCOe expansion modules has two sets of DIPs switches used to set the Serial
Protocol and Address. When received, the Carel factory default position for all DIP switches is OFF
(Up) position. To allow the expansion module to connect and communicate with the dap4 controller,
the Serial Protocol DIP switches must remain in the OFF position (Up) and the Serial DIP Address
switches need to be changed to ON Position (Down) for Serial Address 15.
pCOe Expansion Module P/N 160-700-008
Make sure the Serial Protocol switches are all in Off (Up) position. If not, change them to the UP position
as shown in picture below.
Next, set all the Serial Address DIP switches to the ON (Down) position as shown in picture below for
address 15.
